A handmade, wheel-thrown deep bowl featuring a striking contrast of black and white glazes. Made from white stoneware clay, this piece begins with a rich black slip base that covers the entire surface. The exterior showcases dramatic drippings of velvet white glaze that cascade down the sides, creating organic, flowing patterns against the dark background. The interior features a brushed shiny white glaze applied with deliberate strokes, allowing glimpses of the black slip underneath to peek through in places, creating a beautiful interplay of light and shadow.
Care:
While I recommend hand washing as the safest method of cleaning, this piece is dishwasher (and microwave) safe.
